Dear SCCJ Members,
In the spirit of our strong Nordic ties, we are delighted to share an exciting upcoming event supported by our colleagues at the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Japan (FCCJ).
Sanna Marin, the former Prime Minister of Finland, will be visiting Tokyo to commemorate the Japanese publication of her autobiography, "Action is Hope! Leading a Nation at 34." Assuming office in 2019 at the age of 34, Ms. Marin led a historic all-female coalition government, navigated the COVID-19 pandemic, and guided Finland to its fastest-ever NATO accession.
This special evening will feature a keynote introduction by Ms. Marin followed by a panel discussion on how proactive leadership can reshape the future of organizations and society. For SCCJ members interested in progressive Nordic leadership, corporate sustainability, and driving institutional reform, this promises to be a highly inspiring session.
Program Moderator: Yuriko Shibayama (Associate Professor, Department of Nordic Studies, School of Cultural and Social Studies, Tokai University)
