Mission
In this key position reporting to the President of the Division of Chicago Pneumatic Tools Division, your mission is to develop and manage a successful business for the Fuji brand in Japan.  Your mission will be to run the business according to the strategy and targets for profitable growth.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows (this list is not exhaustive!)

  • To map the market and to guide the organization for future growth.
  • To develop and manage growth strategies to ensure substantial sales improvement with maintained or improved profitability.
  • To implement the correct organization to support the strategy, ensure that the required competencies are developed and maintained.
  • To secure that customer satisfaction and quality is the base for what we do, measure and make plans for continues improvement.
  • To secure high consolidated profitability long and short term
  • To manage competence and people management
  • To actively contribute to the global business with our global customers with Japanese origin.

Experience requirements
We are looking for a person with a successful background in marketing / sales and operations.  You need to have the capability to develop a strategy for the entity based on the mission given, execute the strategy, follow-up and implement corrective actions when needed.

A strong leader with a clear vision and ability to achieve results, you must be able to challenge a team and lead it into new achievements.

You should have an international profile (if not a Japanese citizen then you must have a genuine interest in learning and living the Japanese way).

Profile requirements
You are dynamic with solid coaching skills, diplomatically firm, able to empower the team members and to create trustworthy and fair relations. At the same time, you are able to create an atmosphere of group team spirit with common focus directed to increased profitable market share.

Educational requirements

  • University degree - commercially and technically oriented.
  • Excellent command of English, at least working knowledge of Japanese
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills
  • Awareness of local cultures and international business environments.
